My 2012 seed order is complete! Thanks in large part to me starting it back in November since a list of what I will be growing needs to be included in my organic application. Now to write out the final copy of my organic application and get it sent in and the biggest part of my paperwork for the year will be complete.
Knowing how bad I am at paperwork throughout the year, last year I set up my expense spreadsheet with the exact categories that are on the tax form for the farm. So all I have to do now is finish entering a few end of the year receipts and take my numbers from the spreadsheet and fill in the blanks on my tax form.
I very much dislike doing any paperwork and bookkeeping so having my seed order done is a huge part of having a huge weight off my shoulders for the year! Now to finish up my organic application.
